Jennifer and Adam were wed at Pen Ryn not long ago.  The day was perfect.  In this image our bride and groom are together for the first time on their wedding day.  I was moving slowly out of the room to afford the couple some privacy, but also aware that I needed to photograph the moment.  I love the simplicity here, the key elements in the photograph are, obviously, Adam and Jennifer.   We have everything we need, and the story is told in the expression on Adam’s face as he shares a private moment with his bride before the day begins in earnest.

I tell your story through photographs I make on your wedding day.  I do this by paying attention to what is happening around me, because what is happening around me is your wedding day. I made this image the day Sarah married Max.  Sarah and her father were discussing the timeline of the reception and a toast he would give.  For me this is prime story time.  The father of the bride engaged in discussion with his daughter the day of the wedding.  Think of all that came before this moment and all that will come after.   This is the stuff of life. No posing, no interfering. Organic free range wedding photography.

Jodi and Jon were wed on a spectacular Philadelphia day in March. The ceremony and reception were at The Downtown Club and a splendid time was had by all. Jodi and Jon first saw each other that day at The Hotel Monaco.

Lots happening on your wedding day, lots of emotion, lots of friends and family, lots of opportunities for free range photography, to capture your wedding day in the real moment. I can tell your story. I plug into the day and put my attention onto what is happening around me, whether it is the groom waiting for the ceremony to begin or the bride engaged in conversation as she arrives at the church. Your wedding is a day like no other. For real. As time passes you can look back and see the difference. Free range, organic, no preservatives.

Kaitlyn and Austin had a brilliant day for their wedding. Kaitlyn prepated for the wedding at her parent’s home, and then proceeded to St Bede The Venerable in Holland for the Wedding Mass. The reception was at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

Zoe and Chris met while studying in Romania. They fell in love, of course, and wanted to get married. Zoe is a British citizen and soon found out that in order to marry the love of her life she would have to wade through a pile of paperwork. After navigating the seemingly endless road through the immigration process, and after lots of patience and international wedding planning The Wedding Day arrived. So here’s to The Bride and Groom. And here’s to tenacity, and the will to win. More to come.

Saturday was a brilliant day for a Philadelphia Wedding. The day began at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Center City where Paige and Francisco prepared to wed. The ceremony was at St. Paul’s Parish in South Philadelphia, and then a splendid reception at Knowlton Mansion in The Northeast.
